The genuine VW one bolts to a recessed plate that is welded between the runners on the seat box

Did you get that plate? It has 4 studs in it

E D I T: Here's a pic of the swivel in it's 3 parts (not including 4 nylock nuts and obsolete plastic guides which are essential for the swivelling which Silverbullet had remade)

Hi, thanks for that it arrived friday and is in great condition and has been removed with a grinder very carefully, just been out side offering it up and the bottom plate fits nicely in between the original runners but in order to be able to use the battery box lid it will have to sit forward a bit, is this normal ? also is it ok to just weld it straight to the original runners ?

Any tips would be very much appreciated going to make a huge difference to space in the van...

why not just bolt the seat base in easy to do and can be removed easily if access is needed underneath
