Hi ,
can anyone tell me their opinions, good or bad on Elite VW. i want to replace my 1.9dg, and their prices seem incredibly cheap compared to other companies. i realise the level of new parts may less than others, but i seem to be finding a mixed bag of reviews of them. how do i know i can trust them, especially as im a long way from essex in north wales.
does anyone know of anybody who can do a rebiuld of my engine in my area?
cheers

Re: reconditioned engine
I've had major problems with Elite. The 1st engine was a smokey pile of crap. The second one was ok but I lost half my oil on the journey back from Basildon to York due to a faulty oil pump spewing out oil. I had to get it fixed myself, costing £120. They said they'd pay for it but never did. Usual excuses... cheque in post etc etc. Gave up in the end. Be warned!!
