Lowering, Here's how I'm doing!

Post by tinman »

I bought some new springd and shocks off someone from another forum and will be picking them up later today. I've got a few days off work left over from last year so I thought today I'll make a start on mine and share some pictures with you.
I started with this!
Image
Removed the top shock absorber nut.

And the bottom shock absorber boltImage
Shock absorber out, all going well so far

Now it started getting tricky, These three bolts in the lower arm were rusted tight, 2 came out eventually! but the 3rd one snapped!
Image
Which left me little choice, so I took the whole lot off!

And then the other side!

The inner bush was a bit wonky on this side

So I decided I'll clean up and paint all the bits and replace the worn out bits and put it all back together another day
