Torque down waterboxer cylinder head

Post by russ »

Hi

I'm fitting a new cylinder head to my 2.1 DJ waterboxer this weekend.

Somewhere I've read you shouldn't use the click type torque wrench to fit the head, anybody out there used a normal (click type) torque wrench, I can't see how using one of these could cause any problems, any ideas,

Cheers

Russ

Haynes dont mention it in my book but I think Bentley do.

The 'click' torque wrench I had would carry on tightening after the click if I wasnt quick.
