Hi all iv been trying to find the earth strap for the carb body on a 2E3 (as shown in Haynes carburrettor manual) the blown up diagram is not clear on where on the engine block the earth strap would be situated.
Does anyone know please as i cant source it on the carb and hoped to trace it from where it is supposed to be anchored on the engine block or manifold etc?

Re: Pierburg 2E3 Earth strap!
there's no strap on a wbx carb, the earth contact is made by the mounting bolts going into the manifold which is earthed via the bolts to the block which has a an earth strap on it to the body

Re: Pierburg 2E3 Earth strap!
Thanks Aidan... i have no need to panic then, im still mucking about trying to resolve the stalling issue i have (intermittent) which i thought may have ben down to a bad earth... back to the drawing board then
O would you know if there was a water leak in the system whether it would trip the temperature sensor via the ECU unit and cause the engine to cut out at low revs? just another hunch im working through
Thanks again !
