Anyone know if my German battery charger is working?

Hi,

I really should know this - but i'm having a brain meltdown.

The LT came with a battery charger - i'm not convinced it's working very well (i don't think it charges very fast). When i put a battery on charge with it the voltage reads 12.5v. (it was 12.9v before i turned it on).

Its supposed to be a heavy duty charger - here's the label:



When i put on my Halfords charger the voltage goes to 13.9 volts - which seems more likely to charge my battery.

Is this expected behavior for a heavier duty battery charger - or is it knackered?

Just buy one of those off Amazon , same price as a 110amp leisure battery

Theres no point just throwing money away!

Looking at the description of that, the battery charger voltage should be higher...

Maybe it is knackered

Its got another stage!

As long as the battery gets charged when the mains is plugged in im happy. My last charger reset its mode when it lost power so didnt automatically charge when i plugged in. That was rubbish.

I best save my pennies then.....
