A dizzy question

Post by icosahedron »

While trying to source a distributor for a DJ engine (see Wanted: section), I've ascertained that the DJ and the later DG engines use the same distributor part no. 025 905 205N. I am aware that the vacuum advance units fitted to the distibutors are different and also that the DG has a rev-limiting rotor while the DJ has a standard one as revs are limited by the ECU.

Are there any other differences that anybody is aware of? I did consult ETKA but am none the wiser.
