clutch slave cylinder

hey up ,, you knights of the vw Aircooled table !!! my camper as been leeking fluid from the slave for a bit . its now give up the ghost outside my house , half way up a mountain .. ive puschased a new cylinder ... how easy or how hard is it to doo please chaps .. no way can i moove it without doing it myself .. any instructions welcome please

Be CAREFULL with undoing the joints and unions otherwise ... http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... gory_id=48 If you have the time feed them with a good graphite-based penetrating fluid ... not WD40

STARTED SLAVE CYNDER REMOVAL UNDONE ONE NUT AND BOLT HOW THE HELL DO I GET A SPANNER ?? BETWEEN THE NARROW BRACKET SO I CAN CONTINUE WITH SOCKET ON TOP . OR IS IT A HACK SAW BLADE JOB TO SAVE TIME ??? ALSO SHALL I BUY A OPEN RING SPANNER FOR PIPE NUT .??? JUST IN CASE I ROUND IT OFF !!!? HELP PLEASE ..... ONCE AGAIN

HEY UP !! you guys >>. any clues on how to get back nut and bolt of slave bracket ??? got front nut and bolt off , not tried fluid pipe union yet . might use mini gas torch .... any help welcome ?? please

2wd it's a case of using one stubbie ring spanner and one normal good quality open ended spanner and lots of penetrating oil, or if you have access to a small belt grinder grinding away about a 1p slot in the lower part of the bracket that is stopping you getting a narrow wall 1/4" drive 13mm socket on an extension onto the bottom of the bolt and a spanner on the top - if you don't need to don't break into the hydraulics, but pushing the piston up and off the lever and pulling it out to get more room is fine but depends on brand of slave some come out easily some have clip around the boot which has to be removed and it's easy to tear the boot
