You can buy my old heap - ah - that is to say fine example of an early caravelle (fresh MOT) with it's fantastic C###ARW registration for half your budget and have some dosh to plough into it - it needs a few quid spending
Only joking, love it really. Good luck with the search.

Re: any syncro for sale?
Hi
Im looking at selling my Doka
Was going to put it on here next week once i get some pictures up
It is on a G plate and came from Sweden (LHD)
Only just sorn it yesterday as the snow has now melted (and tax was due) but it has 12mths mot.
Very solid and i have been happy with it up to press. But due to my father passing away, i have to give my commitments elsewhere.
I have had a little problem with the carb over the last week (extreme cold) and have purchased a brand new Weber to put on. but haven't had time to machine an adaptor. Something i will do this week.
It has a 1.9DG in it which was how i bought it, I was going to put a 1.9td and have all manner of extras 16inch Alloys/adaptors and also a full lpg kit and tank if petrol is your thing?
Im looking @ around the 3- 3.500k mark once i get this carb sorted but im open to offers.
I will be treating myself to another once i get my commitments sorted as they are so cool
Anyhow let me get some photos up in the next day or so and i will post it on for sale section.
Kind regards
Willburt

Re: any syncro for sale?
Drove mine back from Estonia(from a forest in the middle of nowhere a stones throw from Russian border) in June after getting it out there.
Caravelle (power steering etc etc) with recon engine with 20k KM on it (looks like factory recon aswell) and complete front end rebuild-every bush and balljoint is new.
Underneath is absolutely mint as has never seen salt. Bodywork is vgc except for one very weird hole-looks like previously had aerial fitted and has rusted around blanking grommet
Purchase cost was same sort of money as you would pay for a skanky 2wd that needs helluva lot of welding.
With sleazyjet flights so cheap to europe , if your prepared to put the legwork in you can pay WAYYYYYYYY under UK prices for good/better vans.(Have seen near mint Bluestars etc for less than 2k in Poland)
Just MHO.
