On the M6 today I lost all power in the accelerator,tried to start it a few times which id did each time but no revs,waited 5 minutes then it drove fine.
I have little mechanical knowledge.
Answers?
Advice required.

1st guess fuel tank vacuming, but it is a guess. did it loose power a little before hand or was she sweet right up to the point of stopping.
if it happens again get straight out and remove the fuel cap. if you get a big suck of air i could be right.

water in the tank - from leaving the cap off?
