Have you tried posting in the "wanted" section on here to see if anyone has got what you need?

Also worth looking in the "for sale" section as well.

Do you mean a recon head to rebuild your motor, or a re-con engine ?

Once the head is off a WBX motor the liner will nearly always have been disturbed.
This then means new O rings will be needed.
This means taking the barrels and pistons out and careful re-assembly afterwards.
Turns it into quite a big job what with all that time, care and gaskets etc.

Depending on what you know about the general condition of your motor, you may consider getting a good used engine might be cheaper and easier in the long run.

RE re-con engines ("Elite" ones seem top be well thought of) = around £1000 and if you can get to their depot they will fit it free
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here
