My van was dragged off to a garage with a burst clutch pipe, above the petrol tank where you can't see it (of course).
A week later, they say they can't find a stockist of the right unions because of the age of the van (E reg, is that 1988?).
Can anybody tell me where I can get these bits, as far as I can see, it only needs a straight length of pipe inserting with a couple of unions, which surely shouldn't be a problem?
Thanks
Richard

I've renewed my pipe. I cut out a 6ft section, and fitted a 1/4" OD copper replacement using 1/4" straight couplings and Hylomar jointing compound, where the pipe dissapeared into the nether regions hidden by the tank/chassis, I enclosed it in 6ft of gas hose as a protective sleeve.
There's not a huge pressure on the clutch hydraulic system so the straight couplings will be OK, as long as they are not the short nut type.
My van has been through 2 MOTs since with no problems.
Send me your email address and I'll send you a couple of pics.

If you never have a route planned ...how can you ever be lost?

That would be vey useful, thanks, but I don't know how to send you my email address. Can you put a pic up here?
I've made no progress since I started the topic, all that's needed is to replace the centre section and nobody seems to stock the unions. It was hauled to a garage as a beakdown, and I'm not sure how much they know about T25s.
