my 1.9 w/c sometimes sounds tappety but the sound usually dissappers - but NOT this morning - sound got worse then it sounded like it was running on 3, whilst limping home , it got worse again and sounded like it was running on 2. My initial guess is that the oil pump has gone.
compounded by the oil light malfunctiioning so no early warning. Why do double fault failures only happen in real life!
If you want to see the funny side my guaranteed for life st.stl exhaust system on my MR2 fell into two pieces at 80 mph on the M23 last night and my wife is expecting our second child, due on Monday. Life really is bonkers.

it appears your not the only one to have a love of camper vans and also two seater jap cars.

Hey Woody.
Thought I was the only one! most of my dub mates frown at Jap and vice versa.
I've got a rev2 Turbo Tbar with custom made grainger and FCD running at just over 1Bar and giving me a tidy 250BHP. Regularly used on airfield days. I phoned Hayward & Scott and they're going to sort the zorst at no cost.

hey mate, yeah hayward and scott are very good.

i'm running a big fat departure pro twin exit with a aussie down pipe.

love the tubby, but my vw is taking over at the moment and is gonna be my daily runner as soon as i get it road worthy
