Can anyone help with the correct location of all the vacume pipes on a 2ltr Aircooled.
Put the motor back in and have forgot which one goes where!

OK, so far so good.
BUT i still have two other take offs that are vacume pipe in size.
One is on the balance pipe that joins the two inlet manifolds together. This take off is situated in the middle of the balance pipe behind the air filter box. The other is on the body of the vacume unit on the dizzy ( as opposed to the one on the cover of the vacume unit which i have now connected to the T piece ).
I could assume that one goes to the other but the vacume pipe that i removed dont seem to be long enough (unless ive got them all mixed up it has been a couple of weeks).
Keep commin with the info its a great help. Motor starts, runs and sounds great but dont want to go for a test drive till i know the advance/retard system works via the vacume pipes.
This'll teach me to pay more attention when takin things to bits!
Cheers,
Ren
