Not been to Spanish or Portugese Aires but some French Aires have loos and some don't, others have 'toilets' you wish weren't there There's a key in the Aires book as to what each one has facility wise.

I would take one!

As Jed said, you can plot your journey around the ones marked as having "facilities" but as the aires are on a first come, first served basis you may luck out and have to settle for "truckers tizer" (OK for blokes but the ladies...!)

In France we were really lucky and never missed one in 2 weeks but 3 times we got the last space on the aires and it seemed to be the smaller ones that has the loo's!

It would be great to hear how you get on so I'll keep my eyes peeled
Well, I really wasn't expecting that to be; bodged, broken, leaking, lost, missing, mangled, rusty, rotten, stripped, siezed - pass the Stella and it'll all be better
