ah, the smell of turps

I recently stuck some loose interior carpet down and insulated some panels and used turns substitute to clean/degrease beforehand. Now my van just smells of turps. Stuck a couple of airfreshners in but they make my lady feel sick, so took them out. Anyone got any suggestions as to what I can use to get rid of the smell - it's bloody awful.

Ventilate it - it will gradually vanish then.

Yeah, thought about soap and water but wanted to get rid of some of the old adhesive. Well, at least if I go blind, i'll be able to sniff it out.

cut a onion in half and leave it in the van, old fashioned remedy for getting rid of fumes e.g paint etc
