TV aerials ?

Post by filbay »

Hi, Can anyone recommend a decent tv aerial to use in the van ? I have just bought a 12 volt digital/analogue tv , so went out and bought a caravan aerial (battery powered )from "Go Outdoors" . However its proved to be very erratic (it was cheap and you get what you pay for ) and I wondered if anyone could suggest one that really works ?!
Also on the back of the Tv set it says "Use only 12V-5.83A AC adaptor", as well as using off the cigarette lighter socket can an adaptor be used for mains ( in case we use mains hook up on site ? ) If so where do we get adaptor ? Please excuse my ignorance on all things elactrical. Any advice would be great thanks..................

dont mess with a adaptor, spend the money on making your lleisure battery charge when you aare on hookup, then use the tv off the cig socket like you are when not on hook up.
