A few weeks ago I was contacted by a guy who had a DoKa Syncro and wanted to talk to another Syncro owner about the usual things we Syncro owners talk about. He described his vehicle to me and it sounded like a good 'un so I invited him down so we could 'have a look' !!

Today he arrived in this ....

This DoKa has 45499 Kms up and has spent the last 3 years sitting in a field under some trees! Its a 1.6TD, twin locker truck with Projektzwo bumpers and roll over bar. The tyres are 235/75/15 which are as noisy as hell and will be changed for a more suitable general road tyre as the walls are not the best. I drove it and it has the sweetest, tightest engine which, to me confirms the low mileage. Its been over here for a good few years being used as a boatyard tow vehicle!! I think 1st gear is on its way out and the rear diff lock is stuck and has hardly any rust but needs a tidy up. Its a cracker of a Syncro ...... and his brother in law has a Syncro Westy living up in the north west. Another two we didnt know about!
