Bicycle Racks

Post by AngeloEvs »

MY hightop has a ladder fitted on the rear tailgate. I need a Bicycle rack with the ladder still in place (prefer to leave it fitted if possible)?

Any one fitted the universal types or types that seem to fit to a towbar and are they any good (for two Bikes)?

Hello

We have one of these:

Fab rack, really well made. Had ours for around 2 years and we've had no problems.

I've had a Fiamma and now a Paulchen fitted with my ladder on. The Fiamma sat a bit off centre but was fine, all the dimensions are on their website to see if it will fit over your ladder. The Paulchen sits better and looks better though in my opinion. I can measure the stand off for you if it's any help.
What a long strange trip it's been

Use this Thule one, works a treat with bikes or the wagon and you can pick them up second hand fairly cheap.
We have the three bike one, but saw a two bike one on gumtree for £30. The newer models also have a tilt mechanism which allows access to the boot.
