check connections on the starter motor and back to the battery first (there is a big wire and a small wire on the starter).then if all ok make sure she waits for the glow plug light to go out..if your battery is a bit iffy the glow plugs might be drawing too much current for it to turn over.if still no go get someone to tap the starter with a hammer lightly (a rubber mallet would be the preffered thing,you can hit it harder then
)while she turns the key

i recently stripped my starter down, brush pack out and armature...cleaned all the dust out of it with white spirit and putback together..been working ever since
