Trip to Stoke. Quiet spot en route?

Post by fairwynds »

Hi
gotta head north from near Brighton, up to Stoke at the end of the month, for a weekend.
Any ideas for a quiet stop (wild camp stylee) on the way, for a late night stop and leaving in morning. Vicinity of Stratford upon Avon...ish?
My knowledge of anywhere north of Watford is, Im ashamed to say..pitiful!
Thanks
FW

I've stayed overnight in a carpark right in the middle of Stratford. The sign said £3 for overnight parking, so I paid. It said no caravans allowed but didn't say anything about motorhomes. Even had a loo block. It was called Swans Nest La.
