Hi all
T25 - fuel injection, 1900cc water-coolled.
I am experiencing the problem of 'fade' when I accelerate, once up to about 40mph in 4/5th seems to settle down - new plugs just fitted during a full service and these are correctly adjusted. I drove 150 miles form te service until the problme began.
I suspect the obvious i.e. fuel filter..... but with a 20 year old van I was thinking it might be 'sluge' in fuel tank or perhaps an injection problem.
An ideas? or is the fuel filter (which as not be changed in the last 2 services covering approx 10,000 miles) the likey problem - mind you 'Just Kampers' don't have the filter in stock currently.

Re: fade on acceleration
I think that the usual suspect is the fuel filter located underneath at the front of the van just after the fuel tank, these tend to get crudded up and starve the engine of fuel, easy to check and replace, any suitably large inline type fuel filter will do, Halfords probably sell one , if it does get blocked quickly again then the tank maybe could do with a flush.

Re: fade on acceleration
A dirty air flow meter potentiometer track could also be the culprit.
