Over 2 months since getting our campervan and we still can't drive it. Bodywork's brill, engine's fine, we've got a new exhaust.....but we can't get it into gear. Various people have "looked at" the gear linkage but the each time anyone gets into the van afterwards, it still won't go into first, or now second gear.
We've got the van booked into Brickwerks next in November, it looks like we'll have to drive there in reverse as it's the only way we can get moving
Does anyone know any VW mechanics in the Manchester area who don't have a 3 month lead time?

Lots of info missing here.
Has the following been "looked at"?

Master cylinder operation
slave cylinder operation
Why has the linkage been "looked at"?
