Early box linkage

Hi, does anybody have any info on how to adapt the early Aircooled gearbox linkage to fit later vans?

for early into late----

you need the rear section of both systems.

you need to cut them both , weld the early rear to the late rear gear rod

but first make sure the box is fitted . the front mount needs modding as its not straight forward.

fit the box to the engine and make the mount to suit the position of the box.

different engines seem to slightly adjust the engine position
