Post by dandaz »

Hi

just purchased a dehler profi ,does anybody know the location of the water heater? I am a bit lost..

also it comes with a sunawning thing ,there is a piece of materal that slides on the front and then two bits [not big enough for the sides]with tent peg strap places ,any idea where these go?

also ,sorry ,there is like a compass thing on the dash ,it has the 24 hr clock on it and instructions in German ,you press the button and a green light come on... ,anybody know what this is?

Thanks in advance...

Compass like thing with 24 hour clock on it is in fact the timer for the eberspacher heater:-)
dunno about the awning or the water heater.
Some of them had hot water provided by engine water jacket and also had a separate mains water heater that only worked on hook up. The older ones, like mine, didn't have either.
Hope you enjoy your profi, we love ours.

In my van, the only hot water tap is in the shower. A pipe connects from the tap to a hose that terminates into a submersible pump. I have to boil my own water to put in a separate tank.
Hard work. I have the original brochure which confirms this.
As stated before, the later vans have a proper water heater.
Have you tried tracing the pipes to find out where they go?
