Fitting wind deflectors (fixed)

Post by Cruz »

Just aquired mine from Mr & Mrs Mercdoctor (many thanks) and I'm currently experiencing difficulty in getting them to fit and stay in place.

The deflectors fit snugly in the window channel but not securely enough to drive with. I tried pushing the clips in but they will not stay and just ping out.

Do the clips go into the window channel after the deflector is pushed in or does the deflector go inbetween the clip and then push in??

And how tightly can you wind the window up after?

I feel like a right berk :D

Mine aren't the ones with clips, but I can wind the window right up, have to admit they do drop slightly as i wind the window down.

A wise old sage and onion once said "A little perseverance goes a long way"

and I say to myself "Push the clips in HARD you wuss and try all along the channel"

Now fitted. If an idiot like me can do it the so can you
