Eberspacher

Post by Cableguy »

Hi all, my heaters buggered and It needs to be taken apart to have a look.
It's mounted underneath, above the gearbox and doesn't look that easy to remove.
Thinking ahead, as it's a petrol one, if it's terminal I would probably get a new one.
Seeing as they're all deisel ones now, would there be a problem with me running a separate small tank underneath for deisel?

Petrol one in the post below!
No problem using a separate tank - I do as I run my van on waste veg oil which the my Webasto doesn't like. I have an outboard engine fuel tank in the wardrobe!

petrol ones are available secondhand, but diesel ones are much safer, imo.
its easy to set up a small tank for a diesel one, many of us on here use diesel heater on non diesel vans.
My fuel tank for the ebber is in the void behind the rear wheel, infront of the tail light, with a filler in the rear vent.
Others have them in the spare wheel.

I was just wondering as I have an old B2L in a box that I got cheap as chips but I haven't been arsed to fit it.

I'll probably fleabay it as it's quite a big thing and get a smaller diesel one and fit it in the passenger footwell
