Would anyone like a pair of used VW seats?

Hello
In the back of my "new" Syncro I have the two seats, both looking worse for wear. One appears to be electric, in the sense that it has buttons and wires coming out of it, the other seems normal. If anyone wants them they're welcome to them - I'm in Cambridge. In exchange, or if anyone can point me in the right direction, I am looking for the thing that allows the front seats to spin around.

Are you sure they're VW seats? The electric one looks like it is from something else (maybe audi or saab...). The other one looks like it could be a standard one retrimmed to match (headrest looks familiar). I'm not currently looking for seats, but the drivers seat does look comfy!!

What you're looking for in exchange is called a swivel base. If you don't have any luck they are often for sale on here and are always on ebay. The original ones have to be welded in and in my experience are the best, but you can get bolt-in ones too.

i think the seats are golf/passat ones, the electric one was an expensive option I think on mk3s, they come up for sale on ebay, usually listed as recaros

Ah, very good point - they were in the back of the van when I bought it looking like they had been in the front!

Thanks for the insights. Fingers crossed I make it to Van Fest next year, needing to buy a copy of a Haynes manual to work out the wiring for the fog lights I need to fit so that mine can pass the MOT!
