temp2 switch VW partnr?

Post by wimwolf »

Hello all,

I ordered a swith from my local VW dealer (on the phone...shouldn't have done that)
and seemingly they didn't send me the correct one.
What I think I need is the fllowing:
http://shop.vw-bus.com/product_info.php ... -rot-.html
(Seemingly there's a blue one aswell but I'll be happy with the red one...)
Should be a swith at 65°to cut off the manifold heater and choke on my 1.9 DG ('89), not?

They send me a similar one but with a round connection 251 919 369 color is blue-green, the German site gives me the same nr. but 251 919 369B

I can only find it on a german site, not at brickwerks or somewhere else, am I missing something here?
Where to order?

Regards. Wim

Temp2 does the fuel injection and not the manifold heater.

Thanks, I'm getting confused here.

How do you call the termoswitch at the left side of the thermostate housing 1.9DG from 1989?
It is a red, square one and I assume it should switch open when hot?

Simon, I can't find it on the site... help.

grtz.
