North Wales Laning Event 1st - 3rd October

Post by HarryMann »

The lanes are located, roughly, within the triangle Llangollen, Portmadoc and Aberystwyth and range from the scenic through to challenging!

We are now taking bookings for this event. We will be camping at the Bwch yn Uchaf campsite which is near Lake Bala. Everybody who wishes to attend this event needs to fill in our booking form: http://www.syncronauts.org.uk/?page_id=1616. We need to know accurate numbers of those coming in order to plan our groups etc.

We have booked a lower field to camp in where you can have camp-fires. If you need hookup (these are in the main camp-site) you will need to book direclty with the camp-site (as well as filling in our booking form).

Limited numbers so get booking soon.

Booked. Campsite looks promising, but I couldn't see it on Google maps satellite view, perhaps its new ?

I'll be in the pickup, and will bring the barbie and full gas bottle so long as I can find a 'Flogas' dealer.

Andy - try looking on this site for a local dealer: http://www.flogas.co.uk/business/dealers/ or there may be one one the way to Wales. Clive has got you a replacement ratchet strap - thanks for the loan.

They do sell firewood at £2.50 a bag but if don't mind lugging, excuse the pun, a load down so much the better!
I'll have to make sure but I think open fires are only allowed off the ground. The clubs got a converted domestic washing machine drum and shortly, I hope, a commercial sized one!
