accelerator pushrod T25

Post by willv2000 »

Hi, William here, new to this forum,
I removed the carpet and mat etc yesterday for cleaning and the accelerator pedal and pushrod came away from the linkage. Is the push rod supposed to just push back into the linkage or should there be any nut or circlip etc to keep it in place? Not sure if I should get a new one. Mine looks pretty much like the one in the picture at

but I'm not sure if the linkage end has worn.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

William

I am sure there is a round hole with a slot on the side of the pedal where the pushrod fits in

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The push rod should just clip into the bottom of the plastic pedal, there's a recess for it.
