Post by fatboy »

Please help.I have got the camper something like ready for RTTS, have now come to install new monitor and ps2 .The monitor does not have speakers so I assumed that you put it through the stereo! If someone has done this could you let me know which stereo you are using as mine appears to be too old!!!I may be barking up the wrong tree of course, in which case put me straight ,PLEASE.

either some ipod speakers straight into the PS2 or try one of
these
broadcasts on FM for your stereo to pick up like a radio station, using it when parked up? going to need some juice to keep it all going got a good leisure battery I hope?

or if you get one of these click here it had ipod connectivity, which means an audio input, so you can put your ps2, mp3 player etc through your stereo!

Hi Jed,
Think this is how it works - our cd multiplayer works on the same principle.

basically, this device plugs into the headphone socket of whatever mucial device/ audio device you have. It then transmits the sound on radio waves. You tune you car radio to receive it, and bingo, you have you mp3, ps2 etc through your car stereo.

There are many to choose from. Another option, if you have a cassette player, is to trundle down to tesco and purchase a casette with headphone lead attached. You plug the lead into the headphone socket, shove the tape in the tape deck, press play on the device, and the sound runs through the heads in the player. IIRC its about a £5. Also available on fleabay.

Just a point to note: we went to the local maplins to see what they supplied along the RF route. We were told that they are technically illegal (transmitting on a radio frequency). Don't know how true this is.

hope this helps

tis true enought but they don't work on a big enough range for anyone to ever catch you!

Caught my Policeman nephew using a ipod transmitter in his car.
Told him every copper in a 5 mile radius would be picking him up on their radios.
Explained some techno crap about triangulating the signal and DXing.

His face was a picture. :D :D
