Door speakers

Post by colynmac »

I want to add two door speakers but do not know where to "thread" the wires.
The vent from door to dash looks the most obvious but it looks fairly well sealed up.

Anyone else done this successfully?

take the door cards off, you'll have to anyway, and you'll see the best route, don't go through the vent.

I have taken the door cards off and am still looking for the best route to bring the wires through the door hinge area to the dash.

go through the vent! in each side ie in the door and in the cab there is a 25mm hole usually covered with some kind of tape! you'll have to look hard for it cos it's painted, and make sure you put a grommet in each hole so the wires don't get dammaged!!
