front Grill

Post by colynmac »

I noticed the lower grill on my T3 is going a brownish colour unlike the top grill which remains Black.

I would like to spray the lower grill Black. What paint should I use and should I prep it before doing so.

Any help would be appreciated. :?

try warming up the plastic on the grill with a hot air gun before you try painting it, as you warm the plastic just before it starts to melt, the top surface becomes soft and changes colour back to the original moulding colour be gentle with the heat to start with and go over it a few times but this should work ok i used this on my front 5 piece spoiler which was almost white when i got it but came back to black nicely if you do need to repaint use a platic primer available from halfords and the like
