central locking to tailgate

I installed a Maplins central locking system on the driver, passenger and side door but couldn't apply it to the tailgate lock which is just a cylinder turn and push mechanism. Has anyone managed to engineer a set-up for the tailgate lock please?

i did the same but got bored farting about tyring to make it work! lost interest, so i would be interested to see how you get on!!

VW fitted adifferant lock to vehicals with CL.
it has a slider that fits between the push button and te lock mechinism.

Ask around if anyone has one off a breaker

you need to use a t25 central locking specific boot button try just kampers part number j11158 £35 with 2 keys be aware there are different size buttons
