I have an L reg passat TDi - which i was wondering if it would be a good engine donor for a T3? I am sure it would be but I want a bit of advice or thoughts... Not about to scrap the car, but just wanting to know...
Car is running nicely, and has a few niggles, But the negine is good with 194k miles, and still gets me 50 mpg daily... Does the older L reg passat have a ECU? if so would i need the whole wiring loom including ignition key etc? this is the sort of thing i don't know, and would love to have an answer for, just in case....
