Tow bar socket - splicing into loom

Tow bar socket - splicing into loom
As title says. Just wondered where exactly owners have spliced into the loom for fitting a tow bar.

Hi I spliced mine on the near side just by the side of the rely box with all the connections soldering done it was a bit tight but it work's fine, Hope this is of some help. Hobopatch

Grateful for that. I'll nose around in there and see if I can reach relay box area with existing cable

Blimey, what a pain THAT was. Not a lot of room in that relay box. For now I've choc-blocked all the connections but will have to nip out tomorrow and buy some crimp sleeves or I'll never get the cover back on. Absurd job as standard tow bar socket colours bear absolutely no relation to rear light colours. I'll WIKI the corresopnding colours for anyone else who has to do this job
