Front Door Stuck!

Hi Everyone,

Having spent ages re-installing the Interior of my Westy.... the front Left (drivers) door is now stuck closed and locked.

Both interior and exterior handles feel like they aren't connected to the latching system, and the pop up lock only seems to pull up half way before it drops back down immediately.

I have taken the card off as much as possible, but I can't get access because the door's shut!

Does anyone know what the problem could be? Or at least how I can get the door open to get a better look at it!

Would really appreciate thoughts as we're taking the old girl to France on Monday!

Do you have central locking?
Sounds like the CL motor is trying to lock the door. Or the system has fused with the motor half way through its locking cycle.
Try cycling the other door locks.

No central locking I'm afraid - mechanical failure of some sort!

where abouts are you??? I can get you in and undo the door lock but there is NO WAY im gonna put it on here or even pm you about it !
