where can i get a spigot bush for my 1.9 diesel conversion

where can i get a spigot bush for my 1.9 diesel conversion

eyup ducks,ive read on the forum that i will need to insert a spigot bush into the end of the crank before i try to fit my 1.9 diesel,anybody know where i can buy one from?,im absolutely stumped!!!!,also can i leave the 1.9 flywheel on and fit a new 1.6 clutch?,i'd appreciate anybodys help......regards.....oldiguana

£4 from gsfcarparts part no 02280, or not much more from V.W part no 056105313c.
You have to use your original derv flywheel

If you run into a counter-monkey then bear in mind what you are asking for is for a T25 1.6D NOT a 1.9, or they will become confused and useless.

Of course you have to keep it simple, as they never did a 1.9 D or TD from the factory they aren't going to know what it is are they!
If someone rang me and asked for a clutch for a V6 TDI in a T3 I would get confused aswell, credit where credit is due eh.

I totally understand what your saying, and understand the confusion that could arise, but these are people only relaying what the computer says and most of the staff aren't mechanics so aren't bound to know.

Anyway, if you get stuck I carry them on the shelf with OEM gearbox to bellhousing gaskets.

You use the 1.6D, 1.7D or 1.6TD flywheels and clutches.
