Dash lights

Hi there club 80-90 I gave just bought my first t25 and loving everysecond of it,,,I have one problem,,,no dash lights,,,fuses checked,,,i need to know how to get into the back of the dash to check the bulbs,,can anyone advise??

Yep, simply pull upwards on the back at the bottom of the black dashboard cover. It's held in place by two spring clips and will lift off with a little tug!

what about the thing you turn to make em brighter :pimp
the word 'pissing' is safe

did you sort problem with no lights out? I have same problem.. but checked bulbs and all fine..

I got the same problem, mine is a 1984 watercooled panel van. i was wondering if it was the printed circuit???

Mine go on and off every time I go over as bump...... :shock: very annoying!

So come on guys n girls, how can this problem be rectified?!

hi there,,nope problem still persists,,i checked all the bulbs,,tried taking the light switch out but was verydifficult s the wiring loom dosnt budge,,hae left it in the hands of a auto sparky,,,oh and the clutch release bearing went at the weekend,,hoping to get it fixed for vw action fingers crossed,oh and the dimmer switch is usually the problem with the lights,,,,the brickyard say so

mine was sorted by cleaning the contacts on the printed circuit board,I very carefully removed the connector and used methylated spirit to clean the delicate pcb.
