my question is when I replace it is there a better why of locking it in to the mirror frame to stop it getting nicked agene?
it looks like its just locked in with the beading and easy to remove.

hi 80-90 land ,some nice person nicked my drivers side mirror last night (just the glass)

No idea I'm afraid - frankly I was unaware you could get the glass out, I thought it was a sealed unit
