Where'e me gearbox number located ?!

Have a diesel 1.6 D Crew cab, where do I locate the gearbox number ? What gearbox oil do I use and how much ?

Found mine, have a look at the pictures in this string, but basically find you reversing light switch on the gearbox, approx 12inches lower after the last finn covered in grime is the number, takes a bit of scraping the much away but its there !
