Eber B2L fuel pump

Post by Cableguy »

My eber wasn't working when I bought the van. Just been tinkering and there's power to the pump, but pump doesn't operate. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
Looked on the web and can't find jack:-/

Not teaching you to suck eggs but those pumps are pulse pumps so it doesnt spin like ordinary ones if you connect power to it it will just pulse the once

No sign of life from it at all.
Maybe I should remove the heater and bench test it to find out what's wrong.
Saw the info on the wiki which is great, so shouldn't have any probs.
What's the spares availabilty on these like?
Noticed eber only do diesel heaters these days.

i run my petrol eber on a deisel pump had no problem
it doesnt run quiet as warm as it should do as i think it allows less fuel through
thats probably due to diesel burns slower

They are the same pump.
Test it by touching 12v across the terminals after removing connections to the heater.
Check that you have a continuous rise from the pump to the heater with no loops otherwise you will not get full heating.
