how to check my eletroclux rm212
how can i check if it works as i have taken one out a caravan. the fridge hasnt been used for couple of years i want to check it before i put it in my van, i have plugged it into 230v at home but nothing happened no noise what can i check, to get it working???

They dont make a noise, leave it on for a few hours and see if the flue gets warmish and are any of the pipes at the rear either warm or cool. if nothing then 240v element may be goosed.

the flue only gets warm on gas

Kev if hes got it out and its working he will feel 'some 'heat on the flue assembly and the lovely mass of tubes at the rear will have differing temperatures, .If not, then we can safely assume its not working on 240v..

While it's out leave it upside down for 24 hours and give it a good check and clean.

As Cruz says but dont forget to leave it the right way up for as long before firing it up
