Electric Window problem

Hi all

Got an electric window fault on my van – passenger window will not operate. It started with being very sluggish going up and down and sometimes requiring a little help with a push. Now it does nothing. Drivers window functions normally. I have a new switch that I’m trying in the morning; however someone mentioned there are some instructions for referbing the motor any help gratefully appreciated.
