I'm not far from fitting the interior on our Westy Syncro thing and it's time to look at electrics. I've purchased the RCD, trips and 240v cable. The van has the factory split charger in situ and I do have a Westy loom to work with.
While looking on Ebay this morning I saw various Zig units (older models but at low prices). I can't afford/justify a new CF9 right now but are any of the older models worth having?
Do they have an integral battery charger to replace the BBB or do I need to buy one as well?
Cheap Zig units (used)....worth a punt?

Some do & some don't depends on the model.
Personally I don't have one and can't see the need for one, just replace the old Westie charger with a decent new one. Everything works fine without and I reckon it's just something else to worry about

What a long strange trip it's been
