oil leak

Post by pieman1 »

Hi everyone, I could do with some info/advice. I have a T25 with a 1.9 mk1 golf engine (diesel). Where the dipstick tube goes into the block, it is loose and oil keeps spraying up. Can anyone tell me if there should be a bush that fits into the block or if there is another method of sealing it, to prevent the oil leaking out? If it is a bush can anyone tell me a part number or as if by magic !! would anyone have one I could buy.

Many thanks

Dunno, but it might need a new gasket
