sudden take off with accelerator on auto transmission

Post by aarons56 »

Hello there

I wonder if anyone can help and/or has experienced a similalr problem. I've checked the wiki and searched the technical but can find no answer to this and I have tried lubricating the under the pedal bits. When I press the pedal down, unless I do it very slowly, the van lurches forward - are there any less obvious reasons? The same occurs from low speeds on acceleration

thanks

Thanks for that - (sorry, I've been away from the PC). It went in today and they took and off and put back the cable casing and it is a little better but I think it should still be smoother. It is a 2.1 injection and it will probably go back on Wednesday or Thursday for another try. What is the bar and box to which you are referring? I can point the garage in this direction when they see it again.

thanks for your help
