just had a nightmare of a day trying to get the smaller s shaped hose for my t 25. igot it off last night thinking g&s would have one, then tryed euro car parts then vw. then just kampers they are not made any more and im off on hols sunday anyway i have rapt it with a marine tape and then another tape that was in the kit. so far its not leaking. will give it a good run in the morning just to make sure. Could anyone tell me where i might get a new one please its for a 1915 1985 caravelle. jen
It sounds like the same type of pipe that went on me in Italy a few years ago. I couldn't get the part from VW over there but the parts guy showed me a Golf pipe which was close and I cut it and its been on since. (4 yrs) I don't know which Golf.
Anyway, before I got the pipe I had to repair the old one as it was August B/H and this worked a treat (it was a major split too):
You'll need a puncture repair kit containing glue, some tube patches and a TYRE patch and some cable ties.
Squeeze the tube and line each side of the crack with glue, hold for a couple of mins and then squeeze together fitting accurately. let glue dry fully.
Sand the whole area (larger than what the patch is) and clean with a meths wipe. Score the area with the rasp from the kit and clean again. Peel off the backing from the tube patches and stick them along the crack. Keep pressing/massaging them until fully stuck.
Now apply glue to the whole area including the tube patches and allow to become tacky. Place the Tyre patch on pressing everywhere until it stays in position.
Attach cable ties from the centre out (not too tight as to distort the pipe) making sure the ends of the patch are well sealed (cable ties on the edge). Allow dry fully.
It worked for me for 500KM and I still have it as a reserve!
Thank you both so much will be heading to the scrap yard to in the morning. i had a word with just kampers and they said they are looking into prduceing them as they have had lots of t 25 owners after them. Think most of the prob is that each end is a diff size. Thank you both again jen
I made a cut and shut one as a temporary measure with a 3" piece of 22mm as a strengthening joint and 2 clips, one each side of the joint and it's still in there 2 years later.
Build up a collection of the essential hoses from a breaker and where possible new, from Brickwerks etc etc.

Slowly but surely, many waterboxers are beginning to be made up of washing machine accessories. You can buy all kinds of hose (including silicon) in various sizes but most (if you bend them, just kink. Chickenkoop and I had to reinforce one quite recently with a plumbing elbow inside to stop it collapsing
