Can't help with the pics as I never did mine but the Offside (rh) inner sill is not available from VW but you can still get it from VW in Germany. Cost me 100 euro's back in the days when a euro was about 70p.

When you say R/H that depends if you have a L/H or R/H slider. Are you talking about the 'kitchen' side?

Heres a few notes on that side in particular: https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Ar ... outer_sill" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - at least as far as gaining access.

Have a rummage/search about the site as there are a few of us that have ventured into the underworld of sill hacking!

If you need pics I can post you a link....

** be aware though that it's a much more involved job than you may first suspect

Nice one fellas. Much appreciated! Any tips on types of weld? Questions: Doug in those pics is that a puddle weld from inner sill to floor? And what's the sealant being used?

puddle of weld? not sure what you mean fella :?:

The sealant is Arbosil 1090 low modulus glazing sealant- being low modulus it forms a skin but doesn't set so i is able to move - after that it was all waxoyl/tetrasealed up also
